Local 24-hour emergency water and mold damage service provider to support the capital campaign to provide family-centered lifesaving treatment through 3rd Annual “Catching for Kids” Fishing Tournament
FORT MYERS, Fla. (October 18, 2016) – Erickson’s Drying Systems has announced its partnership with Skanska Gates as a sponsor for the 3rd Annual Catching for Kids Fishing Tournament to benefit the Golisano Children’s Hospital. Splashing in as the $7,500 Fishing Shirt Sponsor, the team at Erickson’s hopes this event, to be held Friday, October 21 at the Pink Shell Beach Resort & Marina, will help Golisano Children’s Hospital bridge the gap that remains on their $100 million capital campaign to help build and equip a new 128-bed children’s hospital on campus.
Golisano Children’s Hospital is the only acute care children’s hospital located between Tampa and Miami, and it provides essential healthcare for the areas’ sick and injured children and their families, from infancy through adulthood. As a business committed to the community and to family, Kenny and wife Christine Erickson, president and vice president (respectively) of Erickson’s Drying Systems felt the partnership would be a natural fit for their support.
“Over the last three years, we have been proud to support Skanska Gates’ efforts to raise more than $150,000 during this fishing tournament,” shared Kenny. “Children and families are at the heart of everything we do in our community. To be able to help with offsetting the costs to build and equip the new 292,000-square-foot facility, which is totally dedicated to pediatric specialty care is a very personal initiative.”
